Known for "treating filmmakers like rockstars", the AIFF is commited to fostering an intimate celebration of independent film in southern Oregon. Festival Packs Theatres | |  | The 7th annual ashland independent film festival wrapped after five days of full theatres. 101 of the 130 screenings sold out. 11 filmmakers won juried and audience awards. Helen Hunt received the AIFF Rogue Award and the festival’s Artistic Achievement Award was presented to Albert Maysles. "I have received many honors; none of them have touched me as deeply and soulfully," Maysles said.
